About this bed and breakfast
Quiet getaway in the country near downtown Bloomington. Private pond for fishing and swimming. Enjoy bonfires, trails and beautiful views. 800 sq. ft. of living space with one bedroom and large sectional and room for air-mattress. Note, there is not a futon, but a large sectional couch, perfect for a couple kids. Also floor space for a full sized air mattress.
Amenities at Bloomington hideaway, 10 min from downtown, catch some fish in private pond.

Was able to secure this property for IU Parent's Weekend and it did not disappoint! Beautiful, secluded setting, but still a super easy drive to campus and surrounding areas. Everything was as advertised. Comfortable bed and large walk in shower in Master bath. Apartment had all the amenities we needed, very clean and well appointed. While our stay wasn't long enough to use, having a full sized washer/dryer was a plus, along with the additional toilet & vanity. Check in was easy and Bill was a great host who was very accessible. Definitely will be added to our go to stay when in Bloomington!

If you are looking for something a little different and for a quiet peaceful place to stay, this is it! I will be staying here again for sure. Stayed here while moving my daughter back to IU. It is convenient to get to and from IU, but away from all the craziness going on in town, and away from the price gauging! The property is gorgeous, and it is so quiet, you do feel like you are on a retreat. The owner allows you to enjoy his property and even fish in his pond. We caught 4 fish in the short time we were there. He even added an extra touch by leaving bait for us! Owner lives on site, but we never saw him, and he was super with communication and help. The place was very clean and it's simple, just a clean nice quiet place to rest. There on no futons, it's a large sectional, that I would say you could have 2 kids, 2 teenagers for sure fit to sleep. The bed in the actual bedroom is very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is an apartment over a detached garage, but it's lovely, so be open to it. Loved it. My college age daughters loved the fishing and just sitting and looking at the pond.

This is really a wonderful place to stay. Owner really makes sure all your needs are taken care of. Property is incredibly peaceful too with the view of the pond. Highly recommend!
