About this house rental
Welcome to Edge Water Lodge, your perfect lakefront getaway for families and large groups! This completely remodeled and modern property is located on Lake Erie and features 10 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. The Lodge has 9 queen beds, 1 twin bed and 4 full sleeper sofas, sleeping 26 people total. Flat screen TVs are in every room and the master suite has a jacuzzi tub. You will be comfortable in the summer with full A/C and cozy in the wintertime snuggled up next to our 2 electronic fireplaces. Enjoy stunning views from the overlook deck with access from the bedrooms on the second story. Every modern convenience is yours topped off with a great view and private lake access. Grab a glass of wine, sit by our cozy fire pit, and enjoy life by the lake at the Lodge.
Amenities offered by pet friendly Edge Water Lodge include: A/C; Wi-Fi and Cable; A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils; Fresh linens and towels are stocked in all 4 bathrooms. Washer and Dryer. Outdoors at the Lodge features a downstairs patio and upstairs overlook deck, a propane grill with extra gas, and firewood is provided for the cozy fire pit.
Check in is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. Parking for up to 12 vehicles is easily accessible just off Lake Road.

House was very large and spacious, location was great and right on the lake. House was clean with plenty towels. Kitchen was stocked ok. Some bad pots. No cookie trays or like cake pans so take your own. plenty silverware and cooking utensils.Pictures need to be updated. Furniture, paint and floors are different.We went in December, the house was very cold in the master bedroom and bathroom in the master was freezing and could not even use it. and the upstairs would not go above 65. We woke up and there was no hot water in the downstairs. And no one came when I contacted them.

Kitchen and appliances and bathrooms were nice and the general condition of the house was just okay. While it was nice to have many bedrooms, none of the mattresses were good at all. Most of us did not sleep well as a result... The linens were tired and the quilts on the beds looked like they don't get laundered very often. The house furniture is not the furniture pictured in the photos. The furniture was worn and frayed. The chairs at the table had leather seats that were worn, tired and peeling.Generally speaking when I booked the house for our large family I expected it to be a cut above considering the description.It was okay. My expectations were higher based on the how the property was described and pictured.
