This apartment was very clean and modern. We appreciated having a washing machine. The door lock system was easy to use.

Great place and a great location: grocery stores, entertainment, and rapid transit within 5 minute drive. There's another unit upstairs which controls the heat here. Manager was great about having temperature quickly adjusted to a comfortable level. The unit worked for two elementary school-age youngsters with us for several weeks.

There were positives and negatives. It was a cute place, and the updates were nice. The slippers were a nice touch, and the decor was cute.
On the other hand, there was no check in information sent to me prior to check in. All of the information on VRBO stated that someone would contact me with check in information prior, but that was never received. I had to message the host on the day of check in after the check in time to receive the information for the door code, parking, etc.
There was also a significant ant issue. They must have been aware, as there were ant traps under the sink. We did not have open food, but there was constantly a large volume of ants on the kitchen counter.
Most annoyingly, there was a large party above us who were loud and obnoxious all weekend. One of the members of their party apologized the last morning, noting that they had a large family reunion with multiple young children who stayed above us. There was no mention of a unit above us in the initial listing. The family seemed very apologetic as well, as they did not seem aware that people could be staying below them.
The garbage disposal was not functional, which is ok, but would have been nice to have known prior to our stay. The stay notebook asked for dirty towels to be placed in a laundry basket, but we searched high and low throughout the entire unit, and there was none present. Finally- admittedly a minimal issue- the coffee cups were too small for the Keurig volume choices.
