Happy Hollow, located in the heart of downtown Murphys, is an ideal gathering spot for family and friends. A comfortable, lovingly remodeled, single-level home on a sunny, 1/2 acre, fully fenced parcel with plenty of off-street parking, all within easy walking distance to everything downtown, including the Murphys Hotel, shops, restaurants, two dozen wine tasting rooms, community park, playground, and the river. This home sits one block off Main Street, so you are just about as close and convenient as most want to be to downtown, but without all the traffic, parking and noise issues. The home has a flexible, single-level design. The living room provides a central space to gather, with comfortable seating, a piano and two guitars for your enjoyment. On one side of the home sits the primary bedroom with a full bath and a second bedroom adjoining it, while the other two bedrooms and another bath sit on the opposite wing of the house. Both remodeled bathrooms have a tub and shower, plush towels, hair dryer and hotel toiletries. The remodeled kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and entertaining, with coffee beans, half and half, hot chocolate, tea, and basic spices provided. Dining room seating for eight plus breakfast bar seating for three more. The TV room off the kitchen has a couch and handy desk space, giving kids a quiet place away from adults. The adjoining laundry room has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. Five-star amenities like free WIFI, chocolates by the bedside, fresh flowers, snacks, toys and games for all ages, and gas BBQ have it stand out from the rest. When it's time to move the gathering outside, a generously-sized covered front porch provides nice shaded space for relaxing, BBQ'ing and entertaining, while the fully-fenced, front lawn and gated driveway allow plenty of safe play space kids and pets to play. The single-story layout is a comfortable choice for guests of all ages, with a pathway and no steps leading to the back door, providing easy access for those with limited mobility. Great location! Perfect house for a girls trip. Note, the bedroom with a queen and twin is semi private. You have to walk through that room to get to the another bedroom and bathroom. Worked fine for our stay. Kitchen and bathrooms had all necessary amenities. Wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy the huge front yard.
