I’d prefer to do this evaluation in my home after my trip but I would be outside the allowable time so I’ll do it now. Just so everyone understands, I’d stay with Olga again as the apartment is very nice, spacious, nicely equipped, and is located in an upper middle class residential neighborhood. But it’s not in Heidelberg. To get to the old section of Heidelberg one needs to buy general transportation ticket, walk from Olga’s up to the bus stop, wait for the bus, and take it to the train station. Then it’s necessary to take the train to Heidelberg. Once in Heidelberg, you’ll need to board another bus to Old Town, the section of Heidelberg everyone wants to see. Then one will need to repeat this on the way home. Yes, it can be done but one will need to be careful as it’s easy to board the 735 bus only to discover it’s going in the wrong direction, away fro your destination, not towards it. And much to our chagrin, we discovered that the busses don’t run on the weekend. If you have a car, you’ll be fine. Without one, it’s not so easy. And getting there from the Frankfurt airport is another story. But if you can manage the transportation issue, by all means stay with Olga. She’s nice, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. I’m not a poet, but I’d like to try my hand at being one. It’s entitled “Olga’s Daffodils.” As I lay on the couch with a view of the garden, I saw the daffodils, not a host, mind you, but enough to appreciate. I observed them fluttering in the breeze as they moved with the currents of the wind. Who could not be happy in such jovial company? I’m sure that when I return to my home and close my eyes, I’ll remember Olga’s daffodils. Sorry, Mr. Wordsworth.
