Family-friendly oasis near the beach

Wonderful, comfortable house to stay in. Bedrooms and bathrooms have what you need and the host kindly brought us swimming towels. The patio is perfect to relax on and watch the sunset. Having a ‘clean’ in the middle of our stay was very helpful. The host is very considerate and flexible and allowed us a later check out which really helped with our later flight. Ocean view is lovely at all times of the day. Stay here and you’ll love it!

The house was perfect for our friends. Had a wonderful patio for sitting watching the sunrise and sunset. The cake left by our host was delicious. Having Loucas meet us from the ferry with a taxi who took us straight to the house was so easy. AC is 2 bedrooms was very much appreciated. Towels and linen were excellent. After our flight was cancelled we had to quickly arrange to spend an extra night and everyone was very helpful and arranged it quickly for us which was appreciated. Great hosts and great house to stay in.

Words cannot explain how AMAZING experience I had in Greece , special with how Welcome Vlasios kappos and his Father host us . His father is the most sweet and kind Human being I have ever met . I supper recomendes this House . Beautiful , Great location and the View is to die for it . I want to thank you Vlasios and Loukas for the amazing hospitality. ευχαριστώ

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in mid June and had a great time. Picked up at the port by Vlasis' parents who were really friendly and kind. They showed us around the house and had stocked the kitchen with lots of bottled water, coffee, eggs, milk, bread and homemade marmalade! There was lots of useful things at the house like binoculars, plug-in insect repellents, tealights and spare toiletries. The layout is slightly unconventional as there is no living room but the terrace is wonderful, with plenty of sun and shade all through the day and lots of seating, so we spent hours out there enjoying the beautiful views over to Telendos, including lovely sunsets. Downstairs is a good sized kitchen with all appliances, adjacent dining room, shower room and traditional Kalymnian raised double bed (separated from the dining room by a curtain). The outside stairs lead to the upper floor where there are two very spacious bedrooms, one twin and one double, and another shower room. The beds and pillows are all extremely comfy and all the linen was beautifully laundered. The whole house was spotless and clearly well cared for. Vlasis' mum Katerina brought replacement clean towels mid week and left a delicious homemade pudding in our fridge! His father, Loukas, arranged to take us back to the port on our last day. Vlasis answered all our emails questions quickly and helpfully and his dad was available by text during our stay. He speaks quite good English and Katerina speaks German. The house is an easy 10 minute walk from plenty of tavernas, the supermarket, bus stops, free drinking water dispenser and two pretty beaches, as well as the little jetty where the ferry boat to the gorgeous island of Telendos runs every half an hour till midnight. We hired scooters from 'Scooter-fun' in the neighbouring settlement of Masouri which was about 20 mins walk away with lots more shops, bars and restaurants. The guy that runs Scooter fun was serious about our safety, rented us excellent scooters and was very professional. We had a great time on Kalymnos, felt very looked after by Vlasis parents and enjoyed the house and the location very much indeed.
