On the Water in a Peaceful Lagoon. The bay house is designed specifically to get away while connecting with family, friends. While avoiding the normal rush of people to Galveston. Enjoy all the activities this property has to offer while kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, boating, and much more within minutes of the house.
It offers a large deck facing the bay with great water views from both the upper and lower decks. A wall of windows overlooking the lagoon and bay. The home has spacious bedrooms and open living, dining areas, and covered decking. Come enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle and recharge your batteries with family and friends. Increased cleaning measures have been implemented.

Jamaica beach city has recently instituted several ordinances on vacation rentals one is #2025-03. It doesn't allow bedrooms on the lower level of the house to be counted on vacation rental listing sites.., even though there is a full room with areas for "resting" and bathroom on the bottom level for your use while at the property.)

We stayed with two families (6 adults, 4 kids). The property offered plenty of space for everyone to fish, swim off the dock or just hang out. We initially had an issue with the refrigerator cooling (it was warm when we arrived). After it finally cooled overnight, it seemed to work fine. Homeowners offered use of a locked fridge to accommodate if the refrigerator continued to have cooling issues. The home was clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked very well! We didn’t find the extra/overhead fishing lights (switch is on the top deck) until our last night, but enjoyed catching the sand trout! This property was perfect for our daughter’s birthday get away. She had a blast!Not related to the actually property, but for fisherman staying on property, one of our guest was stung by a stingray while wade fishing (with boots) nearby. Be careful out there!

We chose this rental because of the excellent reviews, but we think some improvements could be made. The main door can’t be securely locked - someone could just push the door open even though it’s locked, the dishwasher is not firmly attached and kept leaning forward, only 3 windows have screens on them, there are no blinds or shades in the main family area so no privacy, rust on fixtures in the bathroom, and a shortage of flatware for meals. For the price we expected higher standards.
