Discover this tremendous 2 story gem with its unique eclectic charm in Eufaula. This cool house offers a comfortable stay for guests with its excellent amenities. Pop open a bottle of wine nicely cooled from the wine fridge, pour your drinks or relax in the hot tub just outside your back door (also with a view of the lake). The bedrooms feature queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, touchless trash cans, and large shower for your convenience. There are 2 additional sleeping spaces, including an alcove with a twin daybed that has a popup trundle to make it 2 twins and a second family room with a cozy queen size sofa bed. For people with extra electronics, the sofa bed has built in charging outlets. In addition, nightstands in each bedroom have built in charging outlets. In addition, the sofa has a comfortable mattress with slats for support (unlike most sofa beds), cool led lighting, and built-in cupholders. Finally, the gas logs in the living room or wood burning stove in the cozy family room add to the ambiance and charm for your stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the Bird Nest and enjoyed our time there very much! The house is amply supplied in all categories (dishes, cookware, towels, linens, bedding, toiletries, etc). The house was a good size, even with only 2 bedrooms and can easily accommodate 8-10 people. Beds are well equipped to the point of having additional bed-topper options (memory foam). The kitchen is huge/great! Ample seating for dinning. Bathrooms are nice and the shower pressure is great! We took our girls (English springer spaniel doodles) and they loved the big yard! We enjoyed the enclosed/fenced dog area. The property is GREAT and the location is perfect for a quiet get-away! AND did I tell you about the outstanding VIEW of the beach/lake from almost every window? Best for last is the beach... we walked for hours (with the girls) and never saw another human. We wouldn't have been able to drag ourselves away, if not for the lure of Capt. Johns' lobster bisque and sea food boil (and don't forget the cornbread)! Thanks for your hospitality, Sheri!

The host was very welcoming. The home was decorated very nicely for the holidays and made us feel very welcome. We had everything we needed and loved the peaceful property and thoroughly loved the views.
