Absolutely brilliant! Spacious, just as described, with a warm, friendly host. We loved the little terrace and the ease of parking (right out front). Fantastic to be away from the press of Cinque Terre crowds. What a sweet retreat.

So much quieter staying in Levanto away from the CT crowds. Our apartment was large and well equipped with cooking and washing facilities; we ate out on some nights and cooked on other evenings. Casa Mare Levanto 2 was easy to find walking from the station, however it is worth noting there is no lift for heavy suitcases at the station. The only station providing a lift was Monterosso. Daniele, our host, greeted us at the door and helped in getting our luggage up to the second floor. Levanto has access by train to all the Terre villages and hike trails. The town has beaches, a good sized supermarket (Crai), numerous eating venues and bike rental to ride through the old rail tunnels to Bonassola and Framura .
