On road parking (at cost 2nd March-30th October); unloading at the door. No smoking.. So close to Shanklin’s sandy beach that you can hear the waves, Lower Chine Apartment is a spacious, open plan apartment perfect for a family break on the Isle of Wight. Set on the second floor of The Adelaide, the apartment has an open plan living, kitchen and dining space, so there’s plenty of space to enjoy the views and relax.
Step straight from the living space and onto the balcony to while away an afternoon enjoying the views across the beach and out to sea… and when the sun sets, it’s the perfect spot to sip on a glass of bubbly while the kids enjoy the flatscreen TV with Freesat.
The master bedroom makes a welcome room to retreat to after a long family day on the sand, and with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom it’s a welcoming place to unwind. The second bedroom has a bright, airy décor and twin beds, so it’s ideal for the kids to nod off to dreamland after a busy day making sandcastles.

Lovely apartment great location. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything and more you could need.Overall would recommend cosy and spacious.Only downside was no parking for Flat 6 but we managed just fine wasn’t a major issue.

We enjoyed our stay in this seafront apartment. Great location, at the quiet end of the Esplanade but close to good places to eat. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. We brought basic supplies for our short stay but the fresh milk, tea, coffee etc which were provided were very welcome. Highly recommended- and think it would be perfect for a holiday with children too.

Well equipped apartment right on the seafront. Parking was easy on seafront or in nearby car park but payable as noted in the description. Nice pubs/restaurants nearby. Uphill walk or use the lift to get up to the town.
