Host was very responsive, which we appreciated very much. The inside was nice and updated. As there are no pictures of the outside of the home- we did not know that there were a lot of stairs to access the house as well as stairs to access all the bedrooms. This may be important to note for accessibility concerns. The pull out couch was also very uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the property was fine. The place is nice, but could use a bit of sprucing up.
First, we were notified of the steps to get into the house. But I would be prepared for the amount of them. Its a good hike to get into the place. The lower half is lighted nicely in the evening, but the upper half is not lite very well.
Secondly, the furniture on the lower level is a bit shabby. The couch is disgusting. The chairs and stools in dining room and kitchen need a good scrubbing.
The furniture on the second level was very nice. The beds are very comfortable.
We traveled in from Iowa. We visit quite bit to Oakmont. I am not sure if we would use this place again.
