About this apartment rental
The apartment is located on the second floor and measures approximately 110 sq m. It includes a large living room furnished with handcrafted furniture, a sofa and a balcony overlooking the main street; the kitchen inclusive of all the respective utensils and finally two bedrooms, one facing the course with respective balcony, two single beds, satellite TV and bathroom with shower; the other, internal, also with balcony overlooking an internal courtyard, double bed, satellite TV and bathroom with shower. The apartment is also equipped with independent heating, air conditioning, external terrace-solarium (on the 4th floor and therefore shared with the rest of the building) and is also accessible by an internal lift.

Location! Location! Be prepared to eat, drink, be merry and shop! Historic sites are nearby and the Italo Corso is the main street so there is plenty to do. The train and bus station is within walking distance (about 10-15 min). The bus tops are also located around the corner, and a taxi stand is conveniently located across the street if you prefer that form of transport. There are lots of little food markets and pasticcerie's nearby. We enjoyed the walk to the Marina Grande and the Port where we took the ferry to Capri. All of the boats are there for rides to Amalfi and Positano as well. Franco was the nicest host and very attentive to all of our needs--he will greet you and take time to carefully outline where everything is in the neighborhood. He even took us on little walking tour of the area to show where the markets and restaurants were (yes, DaBob is a very good fish restaurant around the corner from the building) Our unit was quite spacious with two large bedrooms and ensuite baths. The kitchen is large and modern with plenty of cabinets and pots for cooking (if you choose), and of course the large dining table will accommodate your dinner party. Be sure to relax on the roof top terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea and town. We loved our stay here and will surely return!

Franco's building is in an excellent location, on the end of the main road filled with restaurants and shopping. It's about a 15 minute walk to the marina and a 15 minute walk to the train station. The apartment is a bit older, but Franco has added some nice features. It was very clean.
The beds, however, we're not very comfortable and the room with the bunk beds was very loud. Every morning starting around 04:30/05:00 vehicles and metal carts are moving up and down the cobblestone road to restock stores and restaurants. On our first night there, there were many live bands with two outside some nearby restaurants and it was very noisy. It may have been some end of summer celebration. Earplugs did not help. Noise cancelling curtains might help.
Franco provides a lot of good advice based on what you want to do while you are there. Most important thing is to go early. It will get crowded.
