THE LONE STAR AT REILEY RETREAT hosted by CTXBNB: Perched above Lake Placid on the Guadalupe River in Seguin, Texas, The Lone Star is a peaceful lakefront getaway for up to 5 guests. This bright, comfortable 2 bedroom/1 bath duplex includes free kayaks, excellent fishing, relaxing outdoor spaces, fast WiFi, and water views that steal the show. It’s an easy Central Texas home base for New Braunfels, Gruene, San Marcos, San Antonio, and Austin.

WATER LEVEL
As of April 20, our dam has been completed and the lake is fully restored. Fishing and kayaking are already in great condition. Over the next few weeks, swimming may be less enjoyable as the water clears and natural debris continues to move through.

- Second bedroom: double bed, 1 twin bed (trundle)
- Living room: 1 queen sleeper sofa

IMPORTANT DETAILS
You’ll be staying in one side of a duplex. While the outdoor spaces, fire pit, and riverfront are shared with the neighboring unit, you’ll have a fully private interior, carport, and back porch equipped with a grill and outdoor dining. Please note, the boat lift is for owner use only.
We utilize professional pest control on a regular schedule, but this does not guarantee a pest-free visit, inside or out. Because we're in the country and near water, you may encounter various wildlife and insects.
We do our best to schedule our lawn service when the property is empty. Sometimes we are unable to coordinate this, and the lawn crew may be present for a few hours during your stay.
We live locally and also have local maintenance and housekeeping for needs that may arise.

The house was so cute and well stocked! The river nearby is so peaceful. We had a wonderful, relaxing the stay. The neighbors around are as friendly as they come. The owners are the kindest people and make sure you have everything you need. We will absolutely be back again!
