This spacious holiday home in Friedrichshöhe welcomes families, groups, and even pets to the heart of the Thuringian Forest. A wood stove in the living area creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, while the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining space make mealtime effortless. Step outside onto the terrace or shared garden, where sun loungers and a charcoal barbecue set the scene for relaxing afternoons or lively outdoor dinners. The home’s multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure privacy and comfort for up to large groups, making it a versatile base for any vacation.
Nature and Adventure
The property is ideal for hikers, cyclists, and nature enthusiasts. Explore well-marked forest trails, the Werra cycle path, or, in winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, ski hiking, and tobogganing nearby. Historic excursions await in the region, including Eisfeld Castle and museum, Veste Coburg, the ruins of Schaumburg, and the glassblowing town of Lauscha. The nearby towns of Masserberg and Lichtenhain offer quaint cafés, local dining, and sightseeing.
