An hour from Clermont-Ferrand and near the A75 motorway in the Allier gorges, lies the village of Langeac... Not far from the village center, nestled on a small hill at the edge of the woods, sits this charming, renovated vineyard house. Here, you'll experience a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature in a truly cozy and tastefully decorated haven.
This unique place is well worth the effort! The road to reach it is impassable in wet weather, so you may need to walk the last 150 meters. Once you arrive, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of the valley, the countryside, and the surrounding forests!

On-site activities: Relaxation and nature observation, walks or hikes starting from the cottage (close to the Way of St. James, among other routes).
Nearby: The village of Langeac (all amenities), whitewater activities on the Allier River, fishing, tourist train...
A little further afield: the village of Saugues, steeped in legends; Brioude and its basilica, a listed historical monument; the city of Le Puy-en-Velay and its numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites... This former vineyard house sits on approximately 3 hectares of land. The ground floor has been converted into a living room with a kitchenette. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two beds (one on a mezzanine with a 1-meter ceiling height) and a shower cubicle with direct access to the outside. A dry toilet is located about 20 meters from the house.

This accommodation is equipped with a solar panel system powering a battery, making it self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of not leaving lights on or electrical appliances running for extended periods.

Please note: access to the upper floor and mezzanine is via a very steep staircase. This accommodation is therefore not suitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties.
