Capitola Beach, shops and eateries are near. Stroll through this quaint, historic neighborhood to Peet's coffee, Gayle's Bakery, Capitola Beach or Shadowbrook Restaurant. House has one bedroom with a queen plus a twin daybed in the living room. The bathroom has a shower over tub.
Glide barefoot over lovely hardwood floors, relaxing and enjoying hummingbird antics through huge garden windows. The fully stocked kitchen awaits your culinary creativity. A separate dining room offers huge windows to a lush patio. Two vintage desks allow you to work remotely. Enjoy private patios, beautiful plantings and peaceful neighbors. This home is pet free yet provides a delightful bird haven where Hummingbirds sip nectar from the throats of blossoms, Towhees poke among leaves for goodies, Chickadee antics delight and Robins strut along the rustic pavers.

Enjoyed a wonderful two month stay in Janet's home...the location could not have been better, with access to the beach and a park as a bonus! Janet is a wonderful host, her home is well appointed and we had everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!!!! This home is a gem.

A short walk to great restaurants, the beach, and markets. Comfortable bed, ample linens and more than needed to cook a complete meal in the kitchen.

We had an incredible stay at this Capitola Cottage. We enjoyed it for it's ideal location for my beach-comber husband and my quiet escape from the inland heat.
A few highlights to mention:
* A peaceful, private garden with hummingbirds that were great entertainment
* A quiet neighborhood with pleasant neighbors
* The short walk to the beach and dining and groceries
* The furnishings were very comfortable and we easily cooked for ourselves in the fully appointed kitchen
The photos don't do it justice for displaying its charm. We wanted for nothing, and look forward to a time we can come back again!
