I would like to inform you that from 01/01/2024 Greece has introduced a new tourist tax for visitors that applies to all types of accommodation rentals.
The current stay-over tax that chargers guests on hotel and villas has been replaced with a new “climate crisis resilience charge”.
This means that the extra daily fee that applies to guests by arrival to the accommodation will be 15 euros per day. This amount can be paid directly to the property owner in cash.
Revenues from this charge will go into a specially created emergency fund for natural disasters.

The property was everything I expected, no surprises. Great choice of Tavernas within easy walking distance. Small store with all your needs just steps away and beach and bar across the street.

The villa was in a great location, minutes walk from the beach, numerous cafes and the water taxi. The centre of Faliraki is also easily accessible by foot. The villa has a great outside area with the pool plenty big enough for lounging around although not to swim in. Their is also a great shaded area for eating outside. The two upstairs bedrooms are very nice and the ground floor and basement bedrooms are comfortable despite being smaller and darker. This is partly due to the great aircon throughout the house. The landlady is lovely, being very helpful during our stay. Our only criticism was that it was slightly under equipped in terms of kitchen and washing materials, making it harder to cook, which may be difficult if you plan to eat in regularly. However overall I would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Faliraki.

The villa was in a quiet area of faliraki. It's very private and hard to believe that it's only Two minutes from lido beach and ten minute walk into faliraki. It's modern and clean with a great outside space with pool and bbq. The bedrooms all had air con and it was spacious for eight people but perhaps in need of a another shower room. There are some great restaurants in the walk into faliraki and the centre has nice shops restaurant and bars for both families and young people. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa to any family wanting to stay near faliraki.
