About this house rental
There is no better view then this!! Located at the famous Windansea beach makes this the perfect vacation rental to relax and soke up the sun. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium has recently got a face lift with hard surface flooring, all new paint and completely remodeled bathrooms. This condo is located on the top level with a nice bright open layout allowing you to be in the kitchen or living room and take in the ocean view. As you enter the property (there are several steps) the amenities in the living room include a large Pottery Barn sectional sofa, dining room table with seating for 6, 50" TV with cable and streaming capabilities, free Wi-Fi, and two additional lounging chairs. Through the sliding glass door off the living room is your ocean front balcony where you can use the binoculars and watch the locals surf and enjoy the beautiful San Diego sunsets. There are also some board games and cards for you to use as well as some books to enjoy. Just off the living room is the open kitchen which is completely stocked with everything you would need for cooking meals. The major appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove/oven, and microwave. There is also plenty of dish ware, glass ware and silverware for 6 people. Just down the hall is the guest bathroom that has new white and bright cabinets, beautiful blue tile countertop and shower/tub combination. Even the toilet is new! Someone will enjoy crawling into the guest bedroom with a queen bed and nice cozy comforter to keep them warm in the winter. Down at the end of the hall is the master bedroom with the private bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, a day bed that makes out to be 2 twin beds and a 43" TV. The master bathroom was also remodeled with new cabinets, green tile countertop, new lighting and toilet. The master bathroom has a shower only. Through the master bedroom sliding glass door is a back deck that leads to the fully fenced back yard area. There is another smaller patio area down some steps that is for the guests staying in the condo below so please be respectful. A little message from the owners: "Windansea is magical. Howard and Claree built Windansea in 1971. It was Howard's favorite surf break and he surfed there every day for as long as I can remember, taking our childhood dog Mary with him to wait on the beach. We lived there for a year in our early teens and then the daughters Lisa and Carol lived there for several years in their twenties. Now the family likes to enjoy the free entertainment of one of the most iconic surfing spots on the west coast. We now want to share that with you."

The view was beautiful. The host did a wonderful job on getting back to me with all questions. Was stocked with all kitchen items we may have needed and more. Enjoyed all the beach items in the garage.Did have a problem with a leak in kitchen not sure if it was sink, garbage disposable or dish washer. Left a note for cleaners had to place about six large towels to soak water up. This happened just the night before we left. Would book again enjoyed all you city had to offer.

We booked this place for the location and we loved watching the surfers each day. Like others have mentioned, the sofa is not great. There’s really nowhere comfortable to relax. The house could use a good scrubbing and clean out of random items. Location 5 stars.
