About this cottage rental
The lodging of the press is conveniently located 3 KM from Honfleur, close to everything that makes the fame of this region of Normandy: Honfleur and the old harbor, Deauville, Trouville and its beaches, the countryside, gastronomy and all the typical products of this region, cheeses, cider, calvados etc. For a direct rental, you can contact us by doing the following research: www point legrandpressoir dot com .The cottage is located in the heart of a property of 4 hectares, made up largely by a hilly meadow occupied by our two horses. The house is located away from nearby small roads, after a tarred road without end, and entent no traffic noise, allowing to enjoy the sounds of nature. It is likely that you will be woken in the morning by the sound of birds. The major advantage of our cottage is the quality of the immediate environment, with a view of a valley planted with apple trees.
The cottage was built in a typical old press Normand, built in timbered and flint. It features a large room to the ground floor with an open kitchen to the living room and a cathedral ceiling. A large fireplace allows for wood fires for fun in all seasons. A ground floor still, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet suspended. The living room is south-facing and opens up onto a sunny terrace all day and overlooking a small orchard and meadows.
Upstairs, a large bedroom (20 m2) has a double bed and a single bed and also a private bathroom with toilet, the same as the bottom. In total, the cottage can easily accommodate 5 people in two bedrooms. We have two other cottages on the same property, an independent cottage of 65 M2, ideal for 4 or 5, and another building, with 110 M2 comfortable up to 8 people. These two cottages can be easily consulted by searching

We stayed at Le petit pressoir and had a lovely relaxing break. The house was very suitable for us being two couples as it had two double bedrooms-one upstairs with en suite bathroom and one downstairs with a separate bathroom. As the evenings were becoming cooler we had ample wood and lit an open fire. The property is a mass of beams, stone floors, exposed brickwork with a private garden. It has everything you need for a very pleasant stay in the heart of the Normandy countryside. It was hard to find though being situated on a no through road between Gites de Canet and a White House with white fencing if that helps future visitors.

The little cottage was lovely. Very nicely decorated and clean. It is located close to the town of Honfleur...a bit of a walk but just a few minutes by car. The cottage was a bit difficult to find but once there we enjoyed our stay.
