Such a beautiful and clean cabin! The town of Lake Junaluska is in walking distance from this location and it is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Balsam View is a beautiful home in a great location. It is a short .5 mile walk to the lake area. The house has plenty of space, including a second tv area for the kids/other guests. The kitchen is well equipped. The only reason I would give this home a 4 and not a 5 is the bedroom set up and the quality of the mattress in the master bedroom. The only bedroom with an en suite bathroom is a bedroom best suited for children, with three single beds. The remaining three bedrooms share a single bathroom. The quality of the mattress in the master is not what we would expect given how well equipped and furnished the rest of the house is. It was difficult to get a good night sleep in the current bed-it is extremely soft and has a valley in the middle. Other than that, it is a lovely home and we would rent it again.

Great house for larger families or multiple families. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Loved the porches and patios. Kitchen was well appointed and had lots of space to work in. We didn't get to use the fire pit since it was nearly 90 degrees while we were there but it would have been fun

For the cost it was good enough. The downstairs bath was not useable. It smelled like sewage and there were flies in the drain. There was food left in the oven from whoever previously stayed. We thought the house not as close to the lake as we thought, but it was cute. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and swinging.
