NEWLY BUILT - --SANDPIPER TOO-- Beautiful luxury log cabin with 3 full bathrooms/ 3 large master bedroom suites and
a 4th open bedroom with game room/ 2nd living room and log bunk bed set and queen sofa sleeper, all surrounded by a wrap- around, fully enclosed deck with seating and log swing. Lower level has French doors in bedroom and door in game room out to the lower deck with hot tub. Walking distance to waterfall, private beach, lakes and river. Close to snow tubing and ski resorts!

Beautiful, large, private, secluded log cabin getaway located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lake Lure NC with private lakes, beach, river and waterfall!. Located in the spectacular mountain setting of "Riverbend", a gated mountain community with over 3,500 acres of pristine mountain beauty with two private lakes ,river ,waterfall, an old fashioned swimming hole. Great hiking surrounded by mountain views and abundant wild life. Walk down to the stream on property. Private and serene but 10 minutes from lake and riverside dining Minutes away from town of Chirmney Rock! Asheville and Hendersonville also nearby and offer great shopping/ dining/ activities as well!
Riverbends' private beach at Mirror Lake has a fishing pier, a large pavilion overlooking the lake with rocking chairs and picnic tables as well as barbeque pits and beautiful mountain views (bathrooms also). Our canoes and kayaks are stored near the beach/lake. Walk across the road from the beach to the Broad River (with a waterfall and small rapids (perfect for tubing!). Enjoy fishing from the pier, swimming in the lake or playing in the river!

From Lake Lure beach which offers the Lake with a beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains and a children's play area with water slide, lifeguards on duty! Lake Lure was voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the country by National Geographic.
There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt putt, tennis, horseback riding, a gem mine, hiking at Chimney Rock Park, zip lining, lake side and river side dining, white water rafting and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville and Biltmore Estate and Winery, Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville, numerous nearby winerie and breweries, including Crooked Tree and Parker Bins, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Carowinds Amusement Park, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arboretum and so much more. Also, nearby, newly built Tryon International Horse Equestrian Center. It is 15 miles away and has many restaurants and activities. Wintertime, visit nearby ski slopes and snow tubing. The large 4-bedroom cabin is up on a hill surrounded by huge decks with seating including rocking chairs, chairs, a hand-crafted log picnic table and a charcoal grill. The lower deck has a large hot tub. The driveway is up a hill with parking for 3 to 4 cars. Additional parking at bottom of the driveway across the road.

This cabin was just as described. Loved the wood interior. Came for a funeral and loved that it was big enough for myself and my adult children and their children. Would stay again in happier times. Thank you for the accomodations.

I had emailed the property owners a few days before arrival with some questions regarding the property, and received no response. Upon arriving, we found that the cabin was not very clean. It appeared the housekeeping staff had just done a quick once over. With spending a decent amount in a cleaning fee, I would hope they would have at least gotten the cobwebs down. The property is listed as a 4 bedroom, however upon arrival, it is truly a three bedroom home with a set of bunk beds in the downstairs common area. Additionally, the drive way to access the property is extremely steep. From the road you cannot see the top of the driveway, which makes access difficult. You are almost completely blind when pulling up to the house. It also says in the listing that the lake is within walking distance. This may be true for adults, but for younger children, this simply is a not an option. The community was pleasant and we were within driving distance to the town of Chimney Rock which was nice. Overall, the accommodations were fair and we had a great time spending time with our extended family.
