This sun-soaked suite is has a private entrance and private access to a beautiful garden patio complete with night-time ambiance, a fireplace, and patio furniture. The large bay window provides a view into the rustic fruit, flower, and vegetable garden right outside. The suite is tucked away from the busiest parts of the city, perfect for a hub in the middle of some of the best attractions NorCal has to offer: SF, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and more. The comfy bed and beautiful old-town neighborhood add to the warm, homey feel.
While the space is listed as a guest suite, we want our guests to know that they are sharing our home. The lower level of our house is separated from the rest of the house by blackout curtains and is allocated for guest use only. It includes a private entrance, and the guest is the only person who will be using or entering the space.

We really enjoyed our time here. The patio is beautiful and inviting. There is not a kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge. Our busy schedule meant that we were not cooking in the unit anyway, but that may be an inconvenience for some.

Great place, as advertised and looks like the photos. Our only complaint are the tiny dead bugs left all over the floor leading to the bathroom and all over the bathroom. Leaving this message so the owners can have a word with their maid.

This is a lovely place to stay, with new furniture and lots of helpful notes with directions on where to find things. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. There's an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. The restaurants and shops of Los Gatos are an easy 30 minute walk away through beautiful neighborhoods if you want to leave your car behind. My only complaint is that the listing says there's a kitchenette, but what that means is that there's a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. You will need to do the dishes in the bathroom sink. There is no hot plate or way to cook.

I tried to submit a careful, thoughtful review and the first was rejected. So, I'll keep this brief. The place was as described: neat, clean, and comfortable. There were a few problems related to noise (I could hear the owner walking around in the night and early morning, which kept me up) as well as the numerous signs around listing the numerous rules that made me a little uncomfortable. In addition, the walk into town can be quite pleasant, but I tried walking back at night and it was very dark. If you stay here, definitely rent a car or only walk during the day. Overall the stay was fine: I come to this town about five times a year, but likely will not stay here again.
