About this villa rental
Less than an hour's drive from both Bari and Brindisi airport, is our wonderfully comfortable newly renovated family home. It is a 100 year old Trullo Villa in the Unesco World Heritage area of Valle d’Itria and the house has thick stone walls that keep the heat out in the summer.
In the summer of 2018 a new saltwater swimming pool (40 m2) was installed with a spacious terrace around it and an outdoor shower.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, new kitchen with all amenities, spacious living room with a dining area and a sitting area. The house has a large covered terrace by the kitchen, patio by the living room, nice places in the garden to hang out in the hammock or to relax in a sun lounger. Next to the house and the courtyard is a garage with the outdoor kitchen and pizza oven,
The beach is only a 15 minute drive to Capitolo or to Torre Canne with many beautiful beach bars or public beach. There is an endless amount to do !! Or if you feel like it: nothing at all ;-)
The final cleaning is not yet included in the rent and must be settled in cash directly on arrival with the housekeeper: 50 euros to 4 people, and 80 euros to 8 people.
Bed linen and 1 towel per person are included.

We stayed in Mauds beautiful trullo for a week in late June with two young children and my elderly mother. The house was well equipped both inside and out and Maud is a fantastic and responsive host. The gardens are stunning and we ate all our meals (including a bbq one night) outside enjoying the beautiful views. The pool is a godsend and we used it abundantly. Theres a great supermarket 2 mins away and the town is a 5 minute drive. Puglia and Locorotondo charmed us all, we can’t wait to come back.

We loved the pool after a morning exploring nearby towns. It was very well equipped, clean and the air con was great too. Maud was absolutely brilliant in her communication and was on hand with her advice when we were deciding whether to hire a car or not. We did in the end and were glad about it as we could be much more flexible with our days out. The internet was a bit slow occasionally but that was to be expected in the countryside. Overall a fabulous holiday.
