About this villa rental
Villa Eros is a modernised Captains house in the heart of Lindos Village. The Villa has three double bedrooms, all air conditioned. We understand Villa Eros was originally built for the daughter of the Mayor of Líndos in the 1920s. It has lots or original features such as the tiling and stonework. It sits just back from the main street, near enough to be under a five minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and beaches but set back so to offer relative quiet and peace so you can relax outside and enjoy the sea views. The main bedroom double is in the back of the villa in the quiet sala with a traditional Lindian (raised) bed. The two other bedrooms have double beds brought from the UK and are tastefully decorated. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and dining areas both inside and out. The Captain's bedroom is very light and has full length doors that open with views over the sea and the Acropolis of Lindos, the Temple of Athena and the ancient amphitheatre.The terrace has recently been modernised to include stylish outdoor furniture and sun beds where you can chill out with a drink and take in the views of the surrounding area. There are two bathrooms. One with a shower and the other with a shower and bath.
For us it's personal and we will do our best to make sure you enjoy your time in magical Lindos.
Please note: Villa Eros is in the centre of the village which means you are in amongst the hustle and bustle of village life. The Captain’s bedroom nearest the street does get some bar and street noise in the late evening. The inner bedrooms are set back and like the Courtyard are an oasis of quiet. By law the bars should switch off their music by 1:00AM. All the bedrooms have air conditioning but please note that the air conditioning units in the hall are historic and are not connected nor functioning and are not part of the let.

We stayed with 6 friends and had the best time at the villa. It was in a perfect location and felt very authentic, especially the internal courtyard. Everything was great, we were sad to leave!

Just a plain door front in the centre of Lindos village opens into an italianesque, air conditioned sanctuary with plenty of room to drop bags, flop and relax. Beyond it is a courtyard with a stunning stone table, a traditional Lindian sala room, upstairs captains room all built from beautiful local stone; plus a decked out upstairs terrace where you can put your feet up with a quiet G&T.
The loos and kitchen are all modern and clean; it’s all quite, quite lovely!
I’d also add that for us, although the house is on a main drag, there are only people on foot and the odd scooter…it’s not that noisy.
So thank you for accommodating us at Villa Eros.

Arrived at the property it was exactly as it looks on the website pictures. Dom the ower had told us that the front of the house is
noisy on a night time which it was. However the music goes off at 1am and the location of the house its only to be expected. We all slept very well. Typical Lindian captians house. All amenities provided. Some updating could be done to the showers, especially the one off the kitchen.

We had a lovely time but Lindos is too claustrophobic for us .. the villa is super authentic but lacks elements that would make it incredible.. lighting and shower and more beds on sun deck being what springs to mind. There are some fundamental issues with the house .. many of the door locks don’t work .. the mattress in the living room bed is hard to sleep on .. but on the flip we were given oodles of gorgeous towels and things were in the fridge on arrival which was a great touch.
