We had a wonderful stay in this little apartment. It had everything we needed and was very close to public transit. The owner was friendly and gave us excellent instructions for catching the S-bahn into downtown Dresden. I highly recommend.

My family (3 adults and 1 teenager) stayed in this beautiful, bright apartment in Dresden for 3 nights. I wish we would have had the time to stay longer as Dresden has so much to offer for attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The unit was clean, cozy, in a convenient location near transit routes to downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Elbepark shopping centre, Ikea, and Kaufland grocery store. The owners were friendly (we were having trouble using the DVD player and Jörg took his time to help us figure it out), and the area was very quiet and felt very safe. We only had a couple very small problems during our stay. 1) The bathroom door was not overly private. A glass door with a film covering the majority of it- but the bottom was clear glass. If the film covered the entire door, it would still let in light and give more privacy. We just closed the door in the kitchen for more privacy. 2) Wireless internet cut out for us on the day we were leaving - causing a little panic as we needed to make plans for the next part of our trip. Luckily we were able to find another open wifi connection to finish up our planning. We can't wait to get back to Dresden again, next time hopefully staying much longer than 3 nights. Don't miss checking out Alaunstraße and the surrounding streets - this beautiful graffiti and art covered area with tonnes of restaurants and shops was the favorite part of our trip to Dresden. When we have a chance to go back to Dresden, we would definitely stay in this apartment again. :)
