License To Chill

Thoughtfully and beautifully designed, this clean, cozy, and spacious house is a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park, located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Everything was exactly as pictured, except for the yoga deck, which is now occupied by a cold plunge tub. Our family of six truly enjoyed our stay here.

The cleaning crew was still on-site when we arrived and needed about an extra hour to finish, even though we arrived 30 minutes after the listed check-in time. The water in the hot tub was not clean on the day of our arrival, but during our stay, cleaning staff came and serviced both the hot and cold tubs, even though we hadn’t requested any hot tub cleaning. It would have been helpful to receive advance notice from the hosts about the cleaning staff’s arrival. The house rules state that no guests are allowed without the host’s permission. We reached out to ask if some family friends—who happened to be visiting Joshua Tree at the same time—could stop by, but we never heard back. Overall, communication from the hosts could definitely be improved.

Centrally located, excellent location. About 5 to 10 min. from CA Welcome station for Joshua Tree. A top-notch, well-maintained property. We would highly recommend it!

Entry code was sent the day of check in via email, which I did not receive since we were on the road early from Sedona. Perhaps a text to our mobile phone would have been better??

Incredibly big and comfortable. Everything you could ever need in every room. So we'll thought out. Beautifully designed. Lovely decor. Super easy I instructions. Great wifi. Nice hotel tub. Great views. Nice beds.
