Beware: resort photos do not reflect the reality of this place, which is falling apart in almost every corner. Deteriorated buildings, unpaved paths, unkempt rooms.
We stayed in a 'newer' junior suite, which was spacious with a good view of the bay, though very bare and exposed to extreme noise from the 'entertainment' space.
The bathroom had few proper amenities (no towel racks, no hair conditioner) with crumbling grouting and a puckered wall.
Most evenings, there was 'entertainment' playing so loudly from around 9pm to 11pm that it was impossible to rest/sleep in our room - especially the front room which was supposed to be the 'kids' room..
The 'cleaners' did a shoddy job, leaving beds half-made, dirty towels in the room and a bad smell, perhaps using dirty mops . (It actually took a while to figure out they had actually serviced the room)
The gym is apparently open between 10am-7pm, though the lady overseeing it closes it 15 minutes early every day. (So really 10am-6:45pm)
The food, on the other hand, was plentiful and decent enough and most staff were friendly and helpful (except for the night receptionist, distinctly disinterested in customer service).
Overall, if we had known the real state of the place, we would not have booked. However, the location was ok, the food was acceptable and the staff generally made an effort to make people feel welcome and valued.
