Really friendly staff and great location and clean

Nothing had a great time

Excellent hotel with a beautiful interior. Everything in the room is thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. Very clean and cozy. As someone who loves very hot showers, I was especially impressed with the water temperature and pressure. This is now our number one choice for future trips to Santa Cruz.

The location is amazing walking distance to the best beach in Santa Cruz. The local coffee shops and Taquerias are perfect.

I already knew this going into the property but Eastcliff Drive can get a little noisy with vehicle traffic at night but that’s expected

The property has a nice location away from all the hustle and bustle but still close to Twin Lakes Beach. Although we didn't have use for the kitchen since we only stayed one night, I would imagine it would be useful for a prolonged stay.

Unfortunately, the bed was super firm and I didn't sleep as well. I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I know these 2 things are quite common these days in hotels, but I don't care for the following: no rugs at all but just faux hardwood floor, and all LED lighting. Another bummer was the fact that the light in the bathroom is rigged so that when you turn on the light, the fan also goes on, which is loud and annoying. Not sure why you can't have 2 switches.
