Coastal Bliss Charming Cottage near Borth beach

The property was very clean and more than what we expected on the pictures ! we loved our stay there

The property was spotless it was stunning and we were greeted with some snacks that were for us on the dining table; which was a lovely gesture We enjoyed our stay for the whole week

Unfortunately the photos showed a balcony view which was from the cafe at the back of the property and we didn’t have a sea view which was a bit disappointing as Borth is a spectacular view but we didn’t let it ruin our stay. We will definitely book again

Cosy, decent kitchen facilities. Great location for a walk down to the coast. Beautiful pebble beach walk/coastal walk right from the door. We got soaked in the lovely Welsh rain and found the heating system fast and efficient to warm us up again. Really appreciated the welcome snacks that the owner left for us.

The smell of mould and mustiness in the bathroom was quite overwhelming. It’s evident that there must be a significant damp/leaking problem under the tap end of the bath. That certainly needs sorting. Wiped down mould patches can be seen not only in the bathroom but elsewhere on the property walls too. The photos are misleading. They should be labeled to say the ‘view’ pictures are not in the property but in the bar on the site. I booked this expecting a lovely view with my morning cuppa, and that wasn’t the case.

This compact cottage had a well fitted kitchen and a loft bed and downstairs bedroom with comfortable beds.

1) Lack of detailed directions to exact location of cottage. 2) Sea view was not part of the accommodation. (see images) 3) Damp / mould in bathroom and downstairs bedroom. 4) No access to washing machine
