The property was very modern and new with high end appliances. It is very well furnished with lots of thoughtful extras (cooking oil, spices, water filter, makeup remover wipes, laundry detergent, etc). We have stayed at many vacation homes and this was among the very best. The location was great. Close to restaurants and Stanley Park. The neighborhood felt safe.
There is a high rise being built right next door. While it is being built, there is a lot of construction noise. We stayed over Christmas and over a weekend so there wasn’t construction happening for much of our stay. But when it was happening, it was noisy.

The house is beautiful and just steps away from the beach and the ferry to get to Granville Island. We could walk to any number of places to eat or shop. The common areas are spacious and very comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom felt very luxe.
There is a big mistake in the listing. It indicates that there are 9 beds in the unit. This is a 3-bedroom house with only 1 bed in each room! The 2 smaller bedrooms are pretty small, with a double bed in one and a twin in the other. Their bathroom is pretty small compared to the master bath as well. It would be a very comfortable place for a family of 4 or maybe 5 if you can squeeze 2 smaller people on the double bed, but we had 5 adults and one of us had to sleep on the couch, which made it difficult to use the living room for its intended purpose. Please fix the listing!! It is otherwise a beautiful home in a great location.
