About this apartment rental
The house was first mentioned in the Ziegenhain city records in 1572 and served for centuries as an inn for traveling merchants and soldiers along important trade routes. It is also the birthplace of the renowned painter Carl Bantzer (1857), influenced by Impressionism.
Today, in the lovingly and sustainably renovated "Zeihäänger Stubb," you experience a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The extensive renovation in 2023 used eco-friendly construction with clay plaster and carefully restored original beams. ("Zeihäänger Stubb" = Ziegenhain parlor in local dialect)
Please note that breakfast is not currently offered. Several traditional bakeries are nearby.
The accommodation is contactless, and we live close by to assist you quickly if needed.
