We enjoyed a great time in Columbus’ Short North area! This home is walkable to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Another plus is that there is room on property to park three vehicles (two in garages, plus one surface spot). Even for more than three autos, the host will apply to the city for your street parking for a nominal cost, which is a huge plus in any city. The host communicated with us prior to arrival, on arrival, and throughout our stay as needed. The home was largely as advertised in photos and description, with bed linens and towels as expected. I would say the kitchen is not stocked for heavy cooking or serving a crowd, but it was fine for our group which only cooked a breakfast, then went out to enjoy the city for remaining meals. If you were expecting to cook a lot, then maybe a little tricky. A few things need attention, such as a non-operating ceiling fan in one bedroom, and the carpet could use a refresh. During hot months, the attic bunk room may be unusable as it was for us on a hot Sept weekend (room was over 80 degrees up there and no adjustable thermostat). Even with minor drawbacks, we had a great time and felt the rental met our needs which were mostly about location and enough beds for our extended family to come together from multiple states.
