Country Guesthouse Tamahere

Nice quiet location. Upper living area is nice with good views. Comfy living sofa & chair. Good shower & products provided. Induction cooker & pan in kitchenette was appreciated.

Queen bed mattress too soft & thin; pillows quite flat. No hair dryer provided in bathroom. Interestingly no toilet roll holder for the toilet roll. Shower mixer tap is very stiff & hard to turn. Bedroom/downstairs has no windows (only 2 sliding doors with no security screen) so gets really warm & stuffy with no ventilation. No aircon or fan in the room. Probably best for winter than summer. Upstairs living would be good to have some shades for windows to minimise heating up the room.

The property was beautifully clean and tidy

Honesty I liked everything - if I was being really picky the only thing I think could be improved is the the sheets on the bed be cotton and not microfibres.

Quiet rural location, lovely misty morning experiences ..... and near to Cambridge centre though for our event, meals and shopping. Although split level with stair access the rooms were spacious and offered ideal suitable sleeping arrangements. Ample parking

The polyester sheets, and unironed linen (that didn't seem fresh on the beds). Inadequate bench space and shelving plus hooks/rails that would've added to a more functional kitchenette area. The toilet seat is loose, cleaning product depleted and no toilet roll holder - all easily fixed please. A misunderstanding with the laundry option may need clarification too. Lighting over the keypad at the door entrance would be welcome - plus some indication of the GUESTHOUSE at the gate?
