About this apartment rental
Aphroula's House is a modern and very comfortable and well equipped property set in a beautiful and quiet location at the back of the village of Milina.
The STUDIO downstairs has twin beds, with space for a third, folding, bed, a kitchen corner with sink, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee-maker, while outside in a covered area there is a second sink, a small electric oven and rings, and a barbecue. The terrace in front of the studio leads down to an attractive flower and shrub garden and beyond to a productive vegetable garden. The Studio has an outside marble table, and two sun loungers, and like the Apartment has a ceiling fan and air conditioning.
Behind the house the hills, covered with olive trees, climb steeply to the village of Lafkos. The lane stops here at the house, so there is no passing traffic... it's very peaceful.
Note that since the pictures were taken the trees have grown considerably, but the views are still there.
Our Village: Milina is the largest of the seaside villages here in South Pelion - though that is not saying much, with an electoral register of only some 800 souls. However, we have a good grocery and provisions store, two butchers, two bakers', two souvenir shops, and a couple of shops selling 'summer things' - beach shoes, sun hats, and buckets and spades, etc - and a chemist. And along the waterfront there is a really good selection of tavernas specialising in traditional Greek dishes. There are several souvlaki joints, a pizza palace, and several bars and cafes all with the sea just a metre or so away. Finally the beaches. The sea here in the Gulf of Volos is normally quiet, calm and warm, and as the beaches don't shelve, and there are no rocks or currents, it is ideal for children.
TAXES.
At the bottom of the Prices box under the final cost there is a clickable link 'Price details'. Click on this and on the pop-up screen you will see a Host Fee charge. This refers to the Greek government mandated Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (in Greek ΤΑΚΚ ΔΙΑΜΟΝΗ). For the summer 2025 period (1 March - 31 October) this charge is Euros 8.00 per accommodation unit per night, and will be passed on to the Greek tax authority (ΑΑΔΕ).

Im Grünen gelegene wunderschöne ruhige FeWo. Ideal zum Entspannen und gleichzeitig für Ausflüge (mit PKW) auf dem Pilion. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden gerne wiederkommen. Milina als Ort bietet viele Möglichkeiten (Restaurants, Lebensmittel, Strand) und ist ein toller Ausgangsort in die Umgebung. Von "Aphroulas Studio" zum Ortszentrum und Strand sind es zu Fuß 10 min, also ein angenehmer Spaziergang. Das Studio bietet alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Perfekte Voraussetzungen für einen tollen Urlaub.

Der richtige Ort , um Griechenland in Gelassenheit zu begegnen
* Unser Haupteindruck :
Vogelgezwitscher , duftende Blumen, viel Grün ,tiefes Blau und sehr klares Wasser des Golfes, Gastfreundschaft, Ruhe, Gelassenheit.
* Das von uns gemietete Objekt liegt am oberen Rande des kleinen Küstenortes MILINA , am südwestlichen Knick des "Pagasitischen Golfes".
Die Haus liegt fussläufig vom Ort bzw Ufer (ca 400mtr) .
* Ein wunderhübsches Haus :
ganz im Stile der vielen anderen Häuser des Pilion. Das Haus liegt in mitten von lichtdurchlässigen aber auch Schatten spendenden Bäumen, in denen tagsüber viele Vögel ihre Melodien kundtun. Ein sehr beschaulicher Ort also, um den Alltag rasch abzustreifen und eine tiefe Erholung erfahren zu können.
* Eine Stellfläche für das Auto ist vorhanden.
* Im Inneren des Hauses findet der Besucher zwei sehr gemütliche Wohnungen vor, die neben voll ausgestatteten Küchen genügend Platz bieten für je 2-3 Personen.
Zur Inneneinrichtung in beiden Wohneinheiten gehören je ein offener Kamin und AirCondition, WLAN , Dusche , WC, Waschtisch und TV.
Esstisch mit Bestuhlung , Sofa , Sonnenstühle und -liegen.
* Erdgeschoss :
Der Wohnraum öffnet sich Paterre zu einer Terasse. Hier kann der Gast entspannen , Sonne tanken , aber auch den geliebten Schatten zur Mittagszeit kosten ,wenn die Tageshitze zunimmt.
Seitlich am Haus besteht die Möglichkeit , eine Aussenküche zu gebrauchen.
*Obergeschoss :
Statt einer Terrasse betritt man hier einen großzügigen Balkon mit Markise , der Blick reicht hinunter bis zum Meer und zum weit gegenüberliegenden Westufer des Pagasitischen Golfes.
* Begrüssung :
zu unserer großen Freude hatte Mr.Smart , unser Vermieter , einige Lebensmittel besorgt , dazu einen sehr leckeren Rot- und Weisswein aus lokaler Herstellung. Frische Kerasi / Kirschen standen zum Naschen auf dem Tisch bereit.
* Umgebung :
Gleich hinter dem Haus kann der Gast den Kaldermi-Wanderweg (< griech.: καλί δρόμος , guter Weg) hoch nach LAFKOS antreten.
* Fazit :
Wir haben uns an diesem Ort , in diesem Haus sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und können diese schöne Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.
Es ist sehr wahrscheinlich , dass wir diesen Ort erneut aufsuchen werden.
Ein Ort , der ahnen lässt , warum schon der Legende nach die Götter vom OLYMP hierher herabstiegen , um eine schöne Zeit der Erholung vom täglichen Einerlei auf dem kahlen und Wolken umhangenen OLYMP zu geniessen.
