Clean, close to the old town (under 10 min walk), and everything you need around the corner (shops, supermarket and a delicious bakery where we got our fresh breakfast every morning). Also, having a private parking with the accommodation was a huge plus. Our hosts were responsive, accommodating and overall very nice.
The shower runs on a boiler that’s quite small, so you may need to be quick with the showers if there’s 2 people staying at the property, to ensure both have enough hot water. It’s not a major issue but we made it work.

The communication with the host was good and fast. The studio is a 15-minute walk from the town centre, supermarkets, and the main Green Bus station. You can take the green buses towards all the main attractions in Corfu (Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Glyfada, etc.). There are lots of friendly cats around the neighbourhood. The internet was good compared to the regular slow speed in the area.
About the studio, the table was squeaky and wobbly. The windows have mosquito nets, but are not sealed properly, and mosquitoes still get in. It was difficult to open the windows to get some fresh air because the smoking areas are right next to the windows. The place can be loud, as planes take off right above Corfu Town even at midnight.
About the area, Corfu and Corfu Town in particular are places with more cars than people. Compared to other crowded tourist places in Italy or Spain, it is horrible to walk around town because you have cars and scooters behind you, even on the sidewalk. When you step on a pedestrian crossing, cars don't stop; they try to go around you, it is chaos.
