About this cottage rental
Our Cottage is a fully renovated, tastefully decorated and open concept cottage that is smoke and pet free. Spacious, with 3 bedrooms on the main floor, each bedroom boasts a queen sized bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom on the main floor. A full kitchen with all major appliances and pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. Wake up to beautiful sun-filled rooms, and enjoy your coffee on the porch off the master bedroom or in the sunroom overlooking the backyard. We have a fully finished basement. The basement has lots of natural light and a cozy TV room, a 2 piece bathroom and brand new washer/dryer for your convenience and 4th bedroom with queen bed. The cottage comfortably fits 8 people, as per local bylaw allowance!
Extra amenities include: WiFi, a brand new gas bbq, and a sunroom to leave all your sandy toys/gear. Huge fenced backyard, extended deck with patio furniture, an outdoor sun umbrella for the patio, outdoor shower to wipe off all sand from the beach. As the sun goes down there is a fire pit to keep yourself warm as you look at the evening stars. Unique to Crystal Beach, there is a private driveway for up to 3 cars.
We are a 15 min walk to the Bay Beach Entrance or a 3 min drive, with paid parking available across the beach. Take an 8 minute walk to great restaurants, shops and bars on Erie Road. Discover the quaint shops and restaurants in nearby historic Ridgeway.
Staying longer and looking for other things to do? Crystal Beach is a short drive to Fort Erie, Friendship Trail and Peace Bridge. Safari Niagara is a 15 min drive, visit the spectacular Niagara Falls 30 min away or enjoy the vineyards and restaurants/shops and golf courses at Niagara on-the-lake 45 minutes away. Bring your bikes and discover the trails nearby!

Three adult couples were in Crystal Beach for a family wedding and stayed two nights. The cottage is super clean and well appointed with a finished basement and a fourth bedroom and a two piece bath which really helped for daily prep as well as a buffer for sleeping arrangements. All four beds were queen size and very comfortable. Air conditioning definitely helped with the heat wave recently. Joe is a great host and he accommodated us with an earlier check-in to prepare for the wedding as we came from a few hours away. Very walkable to all amenities including the beach.

Great location and well-equipped to meet our needs, with the exception of the outdoor shower. I would have rated it a 5 overall except that the shower head was missing. Joe responded quickly and apologized but we were counting on having it. It was a real challenge to have 1 shower with 6 adults and 2 children. There was also no plug for the children to have a bath and a clear sign in the shower prohibiting bathtub use. I reached out to Joe and once again, he apologized but we ended up using a rag to stop the water from draining. Beds are great, fully equipped kitchen, fire pit, games. We enjoyed our stay despite the 2 little issues. Thanks for your hospitality, Joe and Gagan
