Very comfortable, had everything we needed, good shower, good bed, lots of courtesy items on arrival (milk, sugar, tea, coffee, juice, pastries, cereal etc) and easy connection to fast broadband.
We arrived by train and only a short walk from the station.

Breakfast was good plenty for two. Location was lovely and peaceful. Had a wonderful night sleep.
As my husband is 6ft 4. He found it a bit difficult to have a shave in the mirror. Found it too low. Maybe a shave mirror would be good. He also bumped his head on the top of the shower cubicle as he went in.

Lovely decor & breakfast bar.
The floor creaked, the bed creaked, I wasn't aware that it was literally attached to the landlady's house - I could hear them early morning (kitchen next to room, I think?)
The bedroom lamp light flickers a lot so didn't feel safe to touch.
Additionally, I was not able to settle because there were two doors marked "no entry" which I realised were entry ways to the room from the house. I felt very uncomfortable that anyone in the house could've made the choice to walk in. I realised there was a bolt on the door in the morning, but it was just too uncomfortable for me as a lone woman travelling.
