Agriturismo Le Ville

Have to admit I was bit suspicious when I saw the apartment at first, because it looked spartan or rustical at best, but in the end it felt like home! Some of the good things: - Apartment is big, with big living room with fire place and BIG dining table. - It has everything one could need (dishwasher, oven,...) - Beds are very good, and we got good night rest. - Located at the top of the hill with lots of meadows and greenery. - Location is close to nice and interesting cities of Colle di Val d’Elsa and Gracciano dell’Elsa, close for grocery shopping (15 minutes by car). Even Poggibonsi is close (20minute by car). - Central part of Tuscany, close to many interesting sightseeing sites (Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra). Would also recommend the Sentierelsa trail in Colle di Val d'Elsa.

- No air conditioning in apartment. However, this was not a problem when we stayed (end of June), because temperature plummeted to 20 Celsius very early in the evening. Not sure if this will be problem during the rest of the summer. - WiFi and mobile networks signal in the apartment not strong, but we managed - it was good enough for our trips planning. - Water pressure in the bathroom sink was just barely sufficient. - I prefer to have detachable shower handle, but guess this is matter of personal preferences. - 1km gravel road leads to the place, so during hot and dry summer days expect a lot of dust on car.
