We had such a lovely stay! The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk into town along a really nice route, close to the beach, but still quiet and relaxing. The private pool was a real bonus. The staff were so welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations when we arrived. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but even my very picky boyfriend found something he liked, so it worked out perfectly. We had a small issue during our stay, but as soon as we mentioned it, the staff were incredibly helpful and eager to sort it out. Overall, it really ticked all the boxes for us and made for a great trip!!

Stay Helios is a lovely place in a quiet village near the Mandomata beach. The staff are very kind and nice, there is a decent breakfast included, and the hotel gives a relaxing holiday vibe. If you're going for the beach experience, it's perfectly located only about 9 minutes walk away (although be aware that Mandomata is predominantly a nudist beach). Our room was on the smaller side, but still sufficient. The bigger rooms on the ground floor also each have private pools, if you prefer that. If you're planning to venture out and travel a lot across the island, then it's probably best to come with a car. Although there is a bus stop literally 1 minute walk away from the hotel but the busses may not be very frequent. There are several nice local restaurants within a bit of walking distance. Fun fact - there are lots of peacocks living and roaming around the village, so you'll be hearing peacock cries and will definitely encounter a few while on your vacation.
