You can take a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, the nearby islands of Drvenik Veliki and Drvenik Mali (speedboat or fish picnic), and spend the day swimming and snorkeling. Or explore the nearby towns of Trogir, Primošten, Šibenk, and Split. A whole series of national parks can be reached on day trips: Krka, Kornati, Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, and Velebit. Adventurous types can hike the nearby Mosor and Velebit mountains and try a rafting trip on the Cetina River near Omis.
