Family was visiting Donner Pass for the first time from Switzerland and loved the cabin! We were impressed with everything; the decor, the ample supplies in the kitchen, and unique layout. It gave us lots of private space. The closeness to the train tracks was a real none-issue for us. Instead of being obnoxious, the sound of the passing trains added to the ambience.Thank you for a beautiful experience!

It sometimes tough to find a quick place to go with your dog. Especially if you don’t feel like camping. We’re not skiers and we’re just looking for a place to hike with our dogs. The cabin is cozy and has really cool, train decor, and pictures. Very close to everything including downtown Truckee..I Highly recommend, and I’m sure we’ll be back.
