About this apartment rental

Cozy apartment in the heart of Rione Sanità, inside a monumental building that was the birthplace of Prince Antonio De Curtis, aka Totò.

The apartment, recently renovated, is located on the fourth floor of a building without an elevator. The peculiarity of this building is that here is the house where Totò, a symbol of Italian comic entertainment, was born and lived. The apartment where you will be staying, on the other hand, features furnishings with attention to detail, with elements of pop and contemporary art representing the symbols of Naples. The entrance opens onto the living area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining table and double sofa bed. The sleeping area, on the other hand, consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed and boasts access to a balcony. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.

*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find all the details of your reservation within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.

Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.

Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum.

Particularly not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.

Napoli Central train station is 2 km away from the apartment, while the airport is located 7 km from the apartment.
