Wonderful stay! Staff were lovely, the pub downstairs was great for dinner and drinks and the room was beautiful and quiet (despite being above the pub).
Breakfast was extremely expensive for what it was (not very much) so this let the overall rating down.

Lovely village setting. Quaint pub.
We paid for a suite room, and we were in a suite room. But it was very pokey and in the roof space above the pub. So very hot (it was a hot day). There was a free standing fan in the room but it was quite noisy. There was a constant hum of some sort of kitchen equipment too. The room didn’t have a television. I should have checked this when booked.

Restaurant food was excellent
Small dark bedroom and bathroom had sloping roof. My husband could not stand up straight to shave. Dirty loo brush.
