About this house rental
Large former bakery. A mature garden with lots of fruit trees, terrace with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. TV, DVD player, Wii, Apple tv; pool table and lots of games/puzzles;books;dvds for when it rains. Full electric heating and wood burning stove. Well behaved pets by arrangement. Situated in the 7 Valleys area of Northern France, located between the medieval walled town of Montreuil and the bustling market town of Hesdin. Just 25 miles from Boulogne, less than 1 hour from The Channel Tunnel, but in a different world.

We had a lovely time in this characterful restored boulangerie. Great for a group of family and friends with good local walks.

The location of this property was fantastic, the village was so lovely and there was a celebration the day we were there, even with fireworks! The bedrooms worked very well for the number of people we had there - there were 10 adults, one teenager and a baby and the sitting space was also great for a large number. The garden was very private and we enjoyed a lovely meal outside. There was plenty of plates, glasses etc for everyone. We would definitely use the house again and then less than an hour to the port.

Fijne plek om te relaxen met gezin met volwassenen kinderen en aanhang. Verschillende ruimten waar men gezellig kan zitten lezen, praten of een spel doen. De pooltafel op zolder is een leuk extraatje van het huis. De keuken is ruim en zeer volledig; heel erg geschikt voor een groter gezelschap. De slaapkamers op de begane grond kunnen in de winter wat vochtig zijn. Veel wandelgelegenheden rond het huis. Het huis staat in een rustig dorp.

Goed contact met eigenaar, ze probeerde direct kleine probleempjes op te lossen. Prachtige natuur, mooie stadjes.
