"The Den" Belmullet

Brían was so easy to communicate with in advance of my arrival, sent me tips for getting there, and was waiting with a hearty hello. I could not have felt more welcome. He was so kind and responsive throughout my 3-week stay, including setting up a desk by the front window when he learned I needed to work while there, and making sure I had a clear view to the beautiful inlet and field with new lambies across the road! The Den was perfect for me as a solo traveler, with a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom with large shower, very comfy bed, lots of books including local history and lore, and many sweet touches. I loved being able to walk out the door for walks along the inlet and bog roads, and being only a short drive from stunning coastal walks and Neolithic and Early Christian sites. And Brían and Orla could not have been lovelier; getting to know them a bit was a gift. I can't recommend The Den highly enough!!
