Location was great, the Ship pub next door and abundance of good local restaurants. It’s a real gem of a property, with everything you would expect from a period property, we were welcomed with fresh bread, local butter and coffee and fresh milk which was well appreciated.
It wasn’t a dislike, more of ‘it would have been nice’… in the master en-suite there was a bottle of gel hand soap and ‘it would have been nice’ to have body wash/shampoo for the shower also.

My Wife and I had a fantastic stay at this holiday home! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the coffee maker was perfect touch as well.The bedroom was cozy with on-suite bathroom and plenty space to pack away our belongings.
The location was perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for day trips, this place ticks all the boxes.
The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great tips on parking in the area.
We will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable getaway!

Perfect location, very closed to the museums and the river park. Also very close to the city centre commercials area as well as the bus station. The owner couple is extremely nice and warm. They gave response and help to us whenever we need. The living room is very cozy and the books are very good for reading.
Some flies are around in the garden.
