Für uns war die Lage nahe der londoner Wohngebiete und direkt am Kanal, aber trotzdem sehr gut ans öffentliche Verkehrsnetz angebunden, optimal. So hatte man Kontakt zu den Locals und weiß, wie und wo sie leben.
Außerdem ist man etwas abseits des ganzen Großenstadttrubels.
Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und für Londoner Verhältnisse recht groß. Wir waren zu dritt und jeder konnte in einem zimmer schlafen (Schlafzimmer 1+2 und Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer).
Der Blick morgens und abends auf den Kanal und das rege Treiben darauf werden wir vermissen. Das war ein bisschen wie Kino.
Was wir nicht vermissen werden sind die recht schmalen Betten (120 oder 130cm?), in denen selbst Frau und Kind nicht bequem schlafen konnten, weil immer einer dem anderen die Decke weggezogen hat oder ein Knie des anderen im Rücken hatte. Außerdem ist die Wohnung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sodass man ein paar kleinere Reperaturen durchführen sollte, was uns jetzt aber nicht allzu sehr gestört hat.

チェックイン時に鍵の開け方分からなかった時も迅速に対応してくれ、とても助かりました。3日間の滞在でしたが、タオルなど余裕を持って用意をしていただいていて、何不自由なかったです。

Great location overlooking the Grand Union Canal with swans, geese, coots and moorhens. No street noise in the apartment. Very short walk to a Tesco and Co-op and short walk to the Underground.
Lockbox wasn’t marked (there were about 8 of them) so trial and error to get it open. Oven/microwave and heating hard to fathom out (not a significant issue as ate out or takeaway) - printed instructions would have been nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a brilliant apartment with a lovely big well stocked kitchen. There was room for 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids). We liked how quiet it was (no road noise) and the proximity to the canal. We all loved watching the water birds from the balcony and window. It was great to be able to walk along the canal to the tube (11mins) and to Little Venice (1/2hr). The area had. lovely community feel and we particularly enjoyed takeaway Lebanese food from Soor (5min walk away). We enjoyed walking to Portabello Road market and the Museum of Brands. We also found the number 18 bus really useful as it stops right outside the apartment block. The owner was really helpful and was very responsive to any communication. Would definitely book again and recommend.
