Excellent location within walking distance to subway and visitor centre with views of the double pagodas, the room was tastefully designed and larger than it looked in the photos. Friendly staff. Yummy bread and pastries from the bakery in the lobby!
Would have liked a chair, or somewhere to put my makeup in the bathroom (maybe another rack on the wall?)

I seriously don't have enough good words to say about this hotel. Very responsive and helpful staff, luggage storage available before check-in. Hotel lobby has an in-house bakery and water filter. Hallway and rooms are so elegantly decorated, huge bed, sitting area with a long bench and table with tea supplies (tea bags and cute teapot and cups), spotless bathroom (separate shower area and heated toilet seat!) with full size towels (not always assumed for hotels in Asia), free laundry facilities. They really paid attention to the little details, gave us a little welcome snack bag when we checked in, and the woman on staff while we were there was so so lovely, limited English but very diligent about using their translation app.

The room was amazing actually. It was very spacious and it was relaxing to go back to after a long day. The staff were really pleasant as well since they easily helped us whenever we needed help! Also, it was really easy to get to pingjiang road from the hotel and honestly we just walked and walked to get to the tourist spots. The location is both near and far from the station. Like if you’re starting the day, you won’t mind the distance but after a long day of touring you’d feel how far it is but still it was pretty accessible.
We took a didi to and from the hotel and the only thing was that we had to walk all the way to the road since right in front of the hotel is the motorcycle lane but it’s not a big dealbreaker honestly.
