Merci, au domaine les chauveaux, pour ce séjour formidable ! La maison était impeccable et vos attentions nous ont permis de nous sentir comme chez nous. Nous avons apprécié vos réponses rapides et vos recommandations utiles, qui sont, à disposition dans une pochette à l'intérieur du gîte. Séjourner au domaine les chauveaux a été un plaisir.

The whole house was spotlessly clean and we had plenty of the basics like crockery, as well as brand new modern white goods - cooker, coffee makers, microwave, dishwasher, electric barbecue, TV, washing machine and dryer. They had thought of everything. The bedding was lovely and we had plenty of towels. It was nice to have comfortable chairs in the lounge area too. We had a couple of minor problems, which were quickly sorted out by the very pleasant owners; we were gifted some of their delicious pork patés as an apology. Despite work going on around the site, we were not inconvenienced at all. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. The site is located in lovely countryside but not too far from local roads, the main road, and even the motorway, so very convenient for travelling, sightseeing and shopping.
We were there in very hot weather. There was no shade outside and just two lounging chairs. In the heat it was a little uncomfortable upstairs, we needed more ventilation. The stairs need at least a rail to hold on to; maybe look at them from a safety point of view, along with exit arrangements from upstairs in an emergency. However, other buildings on the site are still undergoing renovation, so there could well be plans to deal with the above over the next few months.
