About this house rental
This unique oval shaped house features hand-crafted detail and a vintage aesthetic that will inspire you. Whether it be a romantic getaway for two or a relaxing escape from rowdy city life for a small family or a couple of friends. This freshly renovated space is perfect for you! From the artisan countertops to the bar by the pool these features were designed for your comfort and stay. Every room delivers an alluring and romantic feel with a vintage and quaint ambiance. The living room features a comfortable couch that makes into a full size bed. A smart TV and WiFi. A fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher and everything needed to cook and serve a wonderful meal. Enjoy comfortable dining at the bar across from the kitchen or the family size picnic table outside or for a more intimate setting at the bistro table by the pool. A convenient powder room is located downstairs as well. The upstairs features a king size bed, a setting area and full bathroom with a large walk in shower.
Outdoors you can enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by the sounds of nature while setting on the front porch glider couch,(where you may have an occasional visit by a curious chicken or two). Then relax in lounge chairs on the deck that’s connected to the pool or enjoy a glass of wine or your favorite cocktail at the repurposed water cistern bar. And The Hill Country nights are perfect for stargazers! If it’s chilly out seat yourself by the fire pit in a comfy Adirondack chair to warm up!
A gas grill is provided for outdoor BBQing. The Guadalupe River is minutes away at Bergheim Campground where they have tube, kayak and canoe rentals. With the quaint town of Boerne being a 20 minute drive and the city life of San Antonio or charming Fredericksburg and its many wineries only 20 minutes more there are activities to please everyone.

The Oval was unique in shape as well as decor. You won’t find another like it. We enjoyed the privacy, seclusion, chickens, heated pool, and unwind. Perfect weekend getaway in comfort.
